The stuffy art world overlords have again taken pity on us, with the 3rd annual Spring Affordable Art Fair (New York City) opening tomorrow. Boasting original contemporary works on sale from $100 to $10,000, with half of the artwork priced under $5,000, AAF offers us a solution to the owning-art-competes-with-my-clinically-diagnosed-necessity-for-expensive-shoes conundrum. It’s about time.
